The limits of Levinasian responsibility. An exploration based on certain figures of otherness in Mariana Enríquez

In this article, I propose to explore the scope of the limitation of responsibility in Levinas as the operation that —following Miguel Abensour’s suggestion— makes possible the transition from ethics to politics in his work and allows us to think about the community bond. To this end, I believe that some figures of otherness described in Mariana Enríquez’s literature allow us to reflect on the complexity of responsibility in a community that claims to be inclusive.
